John Torode, Lisa Faulkner and Gennaro Contaldo First to Sign on as Culinary Stars for Princess Cruises’ Inaugural Good Food Show at Sea
Three celebrated British TV personalities - John Torode, Lisa Faulkner, and Gennaro Contaldo - have been announced as the first of the culinary stars line-up for Princess Cruises' inaugural Good Food Show at Sea.
The line recently revealed the new partnership with Immediate Media Live to bring the renowned Good Food Show to the seas on Sky Princess.
Husband and wife duo Torode and Faulkner, both of MasterChef fame, and Contaldo, known as the man that taught Jamie Oliver the ways of Italian cuisine, are the first of an esteemed line-up of foodies that have signed on to bring flare and flavour to the sea. The event takes place November 2-16 aboard the luxurious 3,660-guest Sky Princess and will inspire guests and gourmands with cooking demonstrations, tutored tastings, cocktail classes, hands-on workshops, and more.
A hugely popular and influential figure on the UK culinary circuit, John Torode MBE is best known as the straight-talking co-host and judge of BBC1'sMasterChef,
Celebrity MasterChef and previously, Junior MasterChef. He also is a regular guest
chef on ITV's This Morning, appearing both in studio and on location with his cookery travel segment -Torode on the Road, previously travelling to Cornwall and Scotland. His Australian adventure is due to air soon.

Lisa Faulkner, actress, cookery writer and presenter, first came to British screens as a leading actress starring in numerous high profile TV dramas including Holby City, Spooks and Dangerfield. In 2010, Faulkner made her mark on the food world when she won BBC1’s Celebrity MasterChef. Ever since, she’s been on a remarkable food journey, sharing her wealth of knowledge through her best-selling cookbooks, on her hugely popular Instagram channel, as a regular contributor to ITV’s Lorraine, and through the ITV show she hosts with her husband John Torode, John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, where they create family recipes achievable for all.

Born in Minori on the Amalfi Coast, Gennaro Contaldo is widely known as the Italian legend who taught Jamie Oliver all that he knows about his homeland’s national cuisine. As a regular on the Good Food Show stage, Contaldo is well prepped to teach it to attendees too.
Contaldo’s TV credits include the popular series Jamie Cooks Italy, where he introduced Oliver to a number of Italian nonnas and featured their many shared recipes, and BBC2’s Two Greedy Italians alongside the late, great Antonio Carluccio. He also regularly appears as the Italian food expert and main guest chef on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and Channel 4’s Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast and Jamie’s Christmas.
Contaldo has written more than 10 cookery books, selling over 100,000 copies including translations into foreign language editions. His latest book, Limoni: Vibrant Italian Recipes (Pavilion Books), celebrates lemons and is out now.

The Good Food Show at Sea takes place from November 2 - 16, 2024 aboard Sky Princess. The cruise departs from Southampton on Nov. 2, calling to Lisbon, Cadiz (for Seville), Gibraltar, Cartagena, Barcelona, Malaga, and Bilbao. Fares start from £799pp with a low deposit of £50 per person if booked before March 4, 2024.
